How to hide all file and folder from windows user without encrypt or do anything just rename the parent folder

If you don't want anyone see or read your file in windows environment, I find an easy way to do it,
For example, I have a external hard drive and there are many files and folders that I don't want other user to see, I will create a folder like <^#*3, then store everything that i want to hide in this folder. You can not name folder to <^#*3 on windows, if you want to name you should use linux, like ubuntu, redhat, slax ...
you will get the message if you try to access. so if you want to access the folder you need to use linux or rename in linux.
