Cacti auto generate graph and send email everyday as a report

Cacti is an open source, web-based graphing tool designed as a frontend to RRDtool's data storage and graphing functionality. Cacti allows a user to poll services at predetermined intervals and graph the resulting data. It is generally used to graph time-series data of metrics such as CPU load and network bandwidth utilization. A common usage is to monitor network traffic by polling a network switch or router interface via SNMP. (en.wikipedia.org)

In order to enable Cacti to generate graph and automatically send email as a report we have to install one plugin called nectar

To install nectar you can follow these steps:

1. download nectar nectar-v0.35a.tgz

2. extract the package
#tar xvf nectar-w0.35a.tgz

3. copy the extracted directory of nectar to plugin directory of cacti. My centos cacti directory is store in /usr/share/cacti
#cp nectar /usr/share/cacti/plugins -r

4. Login to the web-interface of cacti as privilege user then install it

5. log off and log of cacti web-based interface, you will notice a new tab will be appear as the nectar  management interface.

6. time to configure email who you want to send report to, then which graph you want to be in the report

NOW, you can configure to meet your requirement.
