linux freeze after complete initramfs -- splash

splash screen can cause the linux freeze when the drive is not good,

so we can choose not to display the splash screen, and display the debug message instead,

1- edit /boot/grub/grub.cfg find the following line (similarly) and remove the "quiet splash"
menuentry 'Kernel 3.14-rc1' --class ubuntu --class gnu-linux --class gnu --class os $menuentry_id_option 'gnulinux-simple-051374dc-14c4-4973-b65b-27272b206d7f' {

        load_video
        gfxmode $linux_gfx_mode
        insmod gzio
        insmod part_msdos
        insmod ext2
        set root='hd0,msdos6'
        if [ x$feature_platform_search_hint = xy ]; then
          search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set=root --hint-bios=hd0,msdos6 --hint-efi=hd0,msdos6 --hint-baremetal=ahci0,msdos6 --hint='hd0,msdos6'  051374dc-14c4-4973-b65b-27272b206d7f
        else
          search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set=root 051374dc-14c4-4973-b65b-27272b206d7f
        fi
        linux   /boot/vmlinuz-3.14.0-031400rc1-lowlatency root=UUID=051374dc-14c4-4973-b65b-27272b206d7f ro   quiet splash $vt_handoff
        initrd  /boot/initrd.img-3.14.0-031400rc1-lowlatency
}
