find out the boot process and perfformance with bootchart

Bootchart is a tool for performance analysis and visualization of the GNU/Linux boot process. Resource utilization and process information are collected during the boot process and are later rendered in a PNG, SVG or EPS encoded chart.

1- installation
$ sudo apt-get install bootchart

2- start service
$ sudo service bootchart restart

3- render boot process into png image file
$ bootchart /var/log/bootchart/

then it will generate bootchart.png and you can see the boot process in the image file
